Prof. Yasushi SASAKI, who retired from GIFT, and his students in EML(Ji-Ook Park, Tran Van Long) won the ‘SAWAMURA award’.
The paper is "Feasibility of solid-state steelmaking from cast iron –Decarburization of rapidly solidified cast iron”. (ISIJ International, Vol.52(2012), No.1, pp.26-34.)

It was selected as a best paper in 2012, and awarded ‘SAWAMURA award’
